Hi all,
I want to readvertise the Law Society’s bitesize one-to-one legal research training which would perfectly suit a trainee solicitor who might have just moved seat, any junior lawyers or those wanting a bitesize refresher on legal research or new legal information professionals starting out with legal research.
The training covers an overview of finding case law, legislation, commentary and precedents – it can be tailored to suit individual needs. It generally covers legal databases such as Westlaw and Lexis+, as well as an overview of the Law Society library and the resources that we have available. We’re offering the training either in person at the library on Chancery Lane alongside a library tour if interested, or online via Teams, running on Wednesday afternoons.
For more details or to sign up, please see bitesize research training, or get in touch with me directly at library@lawsociety.org.uk.
Please do pass this message along to any solicitors, trainees or law firm staff that you work with who might be interested to encourage sign ups.
Thanks,
Mansi
