Upcoming Legal 500 Research Schedules and Submission Deadlines

APAC: The submission deadline for Legal 500’s Asia Pacific referee contacts and submission forms is on Monday 9 June for law firms. There is a separate deadline for barristers on Friday 27 June. Canada: The deadline for Legal 500’s Canada submissions and referee spreadsheets is Tuesday 24 June. Forms and guidelines are available at the Legal 500 Canada Submission Information Page.

Caribbean: The deadline for Legal 500’s Caribbean submissions and referee spreadsheets is Friday 13 June for law firms and Tuesday 27 June for the Bar. Forms and guidelines are available at the Legal 500 Caribbean Submissions Information Page.

EMEA: The new guidelinesfor this year’s Legal 500 Europe, Middle East and Africa research have just been released. Here’s a quick summary:

Deadlines:

Referees deadline (including Nordics): Monday 4 August 2025
Editorial submission deadline: Monday 4 August 2025
Editorial submission deadline for Nordics only (Denmark, Finland, Greenland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden): Friday 29 August 2025

New and amended ranking categories:

Andorra: new Leading firms ranking
Belgium: newly split ranking for Arbitration vs Litigation in Dispute resolution (please continue to send one submission clearly distinguishing between your arbitration and litigation work)
France: newly split ranking for Large to mid-market deals vs Smaller deals in M&A (please submit separately for each category)
Italy: new rankings for Sports law; and White-collar crime
Saudi Arabia: new ranking for TMT (including sports law)
Spain: new rankings for Sports law; Leading arbitrators; and Barcelona: leading business law
United Arab Emirates: newly split ranking for Commercial contracts vs M&A in Corporate, Commercial and M&A (please submit separately for each category)

Deutschland: The deadline for Legal 500’s Deutschland submission forms is Friday 6 June. All forms and guidelines can be found at the Legal 500 Deutschland Submission Information Page. NB: Submissions must be submitted in English.

US: Watch this space for Legal 500’s United States rankings due to go out on Wednesday 11 June. Access to an early release is available. Please, contact Jeremy Stephenson for more information.
