Stabbing Victim from 2023 Case at Vegas Casino Sues Venue

In June 2023, a man was stabbed at the Four Queens Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Now, he’s suing the venue for negligence.The man attacked was George Beatty, a cook from California. Felipe Nicholson attacked him with a knife, and now, Beatty has permanent damage to his arm.

Nicholson pleaded guilty to battery with substantial bodily harm and was sentenced to 14-48 months. He’s still in prison two years later.

In Beatty’s lawsuit, he claims security was nowhere to be found during his attack.

While gambling at the casino, Beatty’s chair was repeatedly bumped into, and Nicholson got into an argument with another person.

After being bumped into, Beatty moved to another machine, but Nicholson continued to bump into his chair.

Beatty then tried to figure out what was going on with Nicholson, and from there, Nicholson got angry.

Felipe proceeded to chase George around the casino floor of the Four Queens,” the suit reads. “After a period of time, Felipe pulled out a knife and got close enough to attack George.”

Beatty is seeking $15,000 in damages.
