Welcome to our April newsletter—a round-up of key developments from this rapidly growing global movement. In recent weeks, we’ve seen domestic legislation advancing in Türkiye and Argentina, the passage of a landmark motion by Germany’s United Nations Association, and the launch of a global ecocide law advisory service.

High-level conversations continue to advance: in Brussels, a diplomatic reception brought together representatives from over a dozen nations; in Accra, Jojo met with Ghanaian traditional Queen Mothers at a key development summit; and we engaged the European Commission alongside WWF and the Born Free Foundation.
Ecocide law was spotlighted at major conferences—Landed (London), hosted in London by model and DIRT Charity founder Arizona Muse; the World Forum (Berlin) in conversation with former ICC President Chile Eboe-Osuji and activist Luisa Neubauer; and Anthropy (Eden Project, Cornwall), where founder Sir Tim Smit moderated our lively panel.
