Lawyer From Brazil Becomes A Prostitute In Bali, Deported By Immigration

A female Brazilian citizen (WNA) with the initials AGA (34) who was involved in a case of violating residence permits and illegal activities by becoming a Commercial Sex Worker (PSK) was deported from the island of Bali.

Head of Denpasar Immigration Detention Center (Rudenim), Gede Dudy Duwita, said the foreigner was declared to have violated Article 75, Paragraph 1 of Law Number 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration.

“Violation of residence permits and involvement in illegal activities such as prostitution cannot be tolerated,” Dudy said in a written statement, Friday, November 29.

The foreigner last entered Indonesia on October 25, 2024, via I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport with a valid visit visa for 30 days and admitted that he came for a vacation in Bali.

He was secured at a villa in Seminyak, Kuta District, Badung Regency, Bali.

These arrests stemmed from digital patrols carried out by officers and detected suspicious activities through digital communication related to illegal prostitution activities. Then, during the arrest, officers also secured AGA passports, a contraceptive device, and currencies in Australian and Euro dollar denominations.

During the examination, this Brazilian citizen admitted to being a prostitute in order to fulfill her living expenses in Bali.Ddia received a fee of IDR 7,800,000 for one date.

This Brazilian woman was deported on Thursday (28/11) via I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport under the escort of Denpasar Rudenim officers.

“The prevention can be enforced for up to six months and can be extended for the same period if needed. In addition, for more serious cases, a lifelong deterrence can be applied to foreign nationals who are considered to threaten security and public order. However, the final decision regarding deterrence will be determined by the Directorate General of Immigration after considering all aspects of each case,” said Dudy.
