Flyntz will discuss the role of law libraries in society, including academic, public, court, government agency, and law firm libraries, and the career opportunities available to librarians with or without law degrees. He will also discuss how legal research issues present themselves in non-law libraries, and why it is helpful for academic, public, and school librarians to have a basic understanding of the U.S. legal system and the legal research process.
