They say it’s free – we’ll be checking that out!
Thomson Reuters today introduced Reuters Legal News features that enable globally minded individuals and legal professionals to customize their news experience and go deeper on industry topics and subjects that are most valuable to them and their work.
Reuters Legal News provides unmatched, industry-leading coverage of legal news, including deep practice area and business of law reporting. Additionally, it includes legal insights and analysis from Westlaw, Practical Law, Peer Monitor and the Thomson Reuters Institute, as well as thought leadership content submitted by legal professionals.
Reuters Legal News users can take control of their news experience by choosing practice areas and topics they are most interested in reading via a new set of features called My View. The new functionality, developed in testing with legal professionals, allows users to customize their news preferences by adding niche topics and subjects. My View also enables users to follow specific law firms, companies or journalists, and to save articles. My View lives as a widget on the left side of each page, allowing users to quickly toggle from any page to their customized view of the news. An administrative portal allows easy enterprise-wide onboarding, registration and access to an entire firm or organization.
“Only Thomson Reuters has the unique content and resources, along with leading technology, to combine its proprietary law-related information and legal industry news with the world’s largest multimedia news provider,” said Maria Korkontzilas, head of Transformation at Thomson Reuters and the business champion for the legal news offering. “Reuters Legal News brings together deep domain expertise on practices, firms and companies with comprehensive global business news to provide the most thorough and relevant information to drive informed, effective decision-making.”
“My View will be critical to legal professionals who want a specialized and steady stream of industry-specific practice area and business of law news in the context of Reuters global business news,” added Korkontzilas. “We are excited to continue innovating and enhancing the reader experience for professionals around the globe.”
