Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have launched a new charitable foundation.
Called “Archewell,” the organization is Meghan and Harry’s first joint venture since they completed their final royal engagement last month. The couple said Archewell will offer a number of services, including emotional support groups, multimedia educational materials and a well-being site.
On March 3, the couple filed a trademark application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to have exclusive rights for the phrase “Archewell” across a number of categories, including apparel and shoes. Specifically, the trademark would apply to “tops, bottoms, shirts, skirts, dresses, pants, jeans, shorts, sweaters, jackets, socks, loungewear, rainwear, footwear, headwear.” Meghan and Harry also hope to be granted exclusive use of “Archewell” for charitable services, educational materials, a website and more.
