16 Year Old Shoots & Kills Two Librarians In US Public Library

What with Houston this awful incident has somewhat been brushed under the carpet.

On Monday afternoon police say 16-year-old Nathaniel Jouette opened fire at Clovis-Carver Public Library killing two employees and injuring four others.

Who are the victims?

61-year-old Wanda Walters and 48-year-old Kristina Carter were both killed in the attack.

Walters was a circulation assistant at the library and Carter was a youth service librarian.

Those injured were identified as 30-year-old Jessica Thron, 53-year-old Howard Jones, 20-year-old Alexis Molina and her 10-year-old brother Noah.

Among those injured all are in serious condition, except Noah who is listed in stable condition.

Who is the suspect?

Police have named 16-year-old Nathaniel Jouett as the suspect.

Police say Jouett was involved in a couple fights the week before Monday’s shooting. One of those fights resulted in the teen being suspended from school.

While it is not known if the teen had a criminal history, sources say relatives of the teen were familiar to law enforcement.

Jouett was arrested in the library after the shooting without incident.

Police did not release any suspected motive for the attack.
