Another only in America story
We noticed this post on of all place "Comic Book Resources Forums" .. actually if you read the thread it's quite an informed bunch of comic book readers out there

Well, it seems that the wonderful state government here in Arkansas as decided that actually READING bills BEFORE they are made law is too much trouble. Now they have ACCIDENTLY passed a law that states "Anyone in the state of Arkansas under the age of 18 who is NOT pregnant, may be married with parental consent." Now they are making a big deal about it after the fact because, due to the wording of the law, it is now legal to marry an infant in this state as long as there is parental consent and the infant is not pregnant.
If you're wondering how this has happened, the law was SUPPOSED to read "anyone in the state of Arkansas under the age of 18 who is pregnant, may be married with parental consent." Notice the absence of the word "NOT" from that. I'm not sure what moron slipped it in there, but now it's gonna cost millions of tax payer dollars to hold a special session of the legislature to have the law repealed and a new one put in place.
