LAW SOCIETY SIGNS MOU WITH JAPAN FEDERATION OF BAR ASSOCIATIONS
The Law Society (the ‘Society’) entered into a MOU with the Japan Federation of Bar Associations (‘JFBA’) at a simple signing ceremony on 22 June 2015 which was conducted after the ‘Globalisation of Legal Practices’ seminar which was also organised by both the Society and JFBA, and attended by about 100 lawyers from both Singapore and Japan.
The MOU aims to develop and strengthen the cooperation of both bar associations in promoting the friendship and exchanges between lawyers in both countries and the exchange of legal information and materials.
Mr Susumu Murakoshi, President of JFBA signed the MOU on behalf of JFBA while President Mr Thio Shen Yi, SC signed on behalf of the Society.
