About the Position:

The mission of Library Services’ is to deliver an outstanding library experience for students and staff through innovative personalised services and state-of-the-art learning spaces, resources and digital infrastructure. The focus for the Library includes embedding information literacy into the curriculum with an emphasis on e-learning initiatives and enhancing research support services

The Manager, Law Library will provide direction and leadership in the design and delivery of Law Library services in a collaborative team–based environment. They will work closely with faculty, researchers, students and administrators in the Faculty of Law to develop services that support the evolving curriculum.

This position is an exciting opportunity for a customer focussed and motivated Librarian who is seeking advancement and interested in exploring new options for providing outstanding service in an academic environment.

About the Person:

To be successful in this role, applicants will possess a degree and/or postgraduate qualification in library and information science, or an equivalent combination of relevant knowledge, training and library or information management experience. Candidates must be technologically literate and interested in exploring new options for providing outstanding service in an academic environment.

The position will suit a dedicated professional with proven high level interpersonal and communication skills, a strong customer focus and a commitment to achieving results. Initiative, adaptability and responsiveness to change are essential, as is the ability to work successfully within a team.

Salary Details:

Remuneration for the appointment will commence at $86 026 plus 17.5% superannuation pa.
