MSc in Information and Library Management Undergrad In Ireland Wants You To Answer Her Survey

We noticed this posted on LIS-LAW earlier in the week

Dear All,

I am currently at the dissertation stage of an MSc in Information and Library Management in DBS in Dublin. For my dissertation, I have chosen to carry out research on law librarians. My chosen topic relates to the perceptions of the role of law librarians within their organisation. I am carrying out surveys of both law librarians and legal professionals in order to ascertain what differences there are between their perceptions in terms of how law librarians contribute to their organisation.

I have compiled two questionnaires in order to carry out my study; the first is a questionnaire for librarians and I would be very grateful if you could contact me at [email protected] if you would like to participate and I will then send you the document. It should only take five to ten minutes to complete.

The second survey is to be completed by legal professionals and if this applies to you, I would be obliged if you could contact me at [email protected] and I will send you a copy of the document. Again, it would require between five and ten minutes of their time.

I would be grateful if you would then return both documents to me at [email protected] by Friday 11 July 2014.

I hope that the results of the surveys will give up-to-date data on how law librarians are perceived and to make some findings and recommendations based on this.

Please contact me at [email protected] if you have any questions about the survey.

Thank you very much in advance for your help and time with this. It is very much appreciated!

Kind regards,
