Lexis Names New North America CEO

LexisNexis Names Sean Fitzpatrick North America CEO writes Monica Bay, Law Technology News and in usual Lexis style it’s reported below that he doesn’t even have a bio up on the Lexis website. It’s all very Kremlin 1978 !

Mike Walsh, global CEO of LexisNexis, today named Sean Fitzpatrick to succeed Robert Romeo, as CEO, North America Research and Litigation Solutions. Romeo has left the company.
The unit is comprised of three major businesses: research, litigation solutions and LexisNexis Canada, according to the company’s website.
No announcement has been issued, said a LexisNexis representative who requested anonymity, and declined to answer any questions about the personnel changes.
Fitzpatrick has been vice president of small law since 2005, based in the Dayton area, according to his LinkedIn profile. “As vice president of small law I am responsible for the creation of the small law strategy,” he states on the site. His duties included creating operating plans, developing annual budgets and managing the organization’s resources to align with the budgets, he continues. He does not yet have a profile on the LexisNexis website.
Romeo has been with LexisNexis since 2008, starting as a senior vice president and general manager of the research and litigation solutions unit. He was promoted to CEO of the unit in January 2011, his LexisNexis profile states. A graduate of the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, he worked as an engagement manager at McKinsey & Co. for three years and for 10 years as a manager at Arthur Andersen, according to his LinkedIn profile.
