Our client a leading vendor-independent IT and communications engineering solutions provider with some 7,000 staff in the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions. Our client is the region’s largest pool of Certified IT Project Managers (CITPM) to offer quality services and is ranked first in Professional Services in Singapore .

Responsibilities :

Corporate secretarial functions including preparation of board resolutions, powers of attorney.
Acquisitions and divestments of interests in subsidiaries and due diligence activities.
Support for all applications for business and investment licences and permits, financing and security transactions, ensuring compliance with laws of foreign jurisdictions e.g. anti-competition, employment, import & export.
IP management - registration and management of trademarks and patents, instructing solicitors on IP issues.
Corporate governance duties – reviewing policies and processes of legal function, collating and analysing data, preparing reports and policy papers for the general improvement of the legal function and processes.
Supporting periodic audit exercise by HQ and internal departments on the legal matters
To provide following functions for the Group of Companies in Singapore and in the region where its subsidiaries are located and where the projects are pursued or to be delivered.
You will have the assistance of one paralegal staff to support your corporate secretariat work.
Qualifying requirements:

Qualified to practice law in at least 1 Asia-Pacific jurisdiction
Good law degree from Singapore, UK or Australia university
Minimum 7 years of PQE, private and in-house experience
Possess strong corporate, commercial and corporate secretarial experience
Candidates with exposure to the IT/IP industry will have a distinct advantage
