Monroe Consulting Group is working on behalf of a Indonesian logistics company that has global reach, including offices in 11 countries, from the United States to Australia. Our respected client, a leader in providing innovative and integrated solutions for its customers in the mining, energy, oil and gas and industrial sectors, is seeking a career-minded professional to fill the position of Corporate Legal Officer, to be based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Key responsibilities will include:
Prepare/draft and organize the execution of legal documents related to set up a joint-venture company, take over, liquidation and establishing a new company by liaising with lawyers and notary
Prepare and arrange the execution of shareholders resolution and other corporate approval documents as required by articles of association of respective companies within the group
Ensure that the article of associations and its amendments of the companies comply with the prevailing laws, and are accurate and inline with financial report
Maintain and renew of the company?s licenses, permits and membership of relevant organizations
Maintain, organize a central register of both original and photocopies of all legal documents, contracts and licenses, including proper records
Qualifications:
Law degree from reputable university
Three years? experience, preferably with law firm
Female
Wide knowledge of Indonesian law and regulation
Excellent skills in legal document and legal Issues
Dealing with government institutions
Managing foreign company legal contracts, joint venture, IPO, merger and acquisition and other legal documents in English
Good analytical skills
Food personal communication skills
Can use initiative
Can work effectively, both independently and in a team
Fluent in English (oral/written)
