Bad day for Lexis Nexis (UK) on LIS LAW UK... First up we hear from a librarian posting that....

Courting Singles

they have two  boxes of books containing multiple copies of titles delivered recently that were never ordered and aren't even in the  firm's practice area.

The librarian adds that they also have an invoice for another product that was never ordered and which didn't ever arrive. We learn from the post that the order also had had an entirely new account number made up for it.

When the librarian contacted the LNB(UK) customer services desk they were told it was probably a marketing person "being over-zealous and conjuring a name out of thin air and putting an order next to it".

The librarian notes: If customer services are prepared to give such glib and self-damning explanations I take it they are aware
it is happening regularly.

Normally we'd say beyond outrageous but when dealing with LNB (UK) we've given up being surprised by some of their employees actions when it comes to trying to make sales.

Getting a car insurance is important than a travel insurance and according to the mortgage calculator, the benefits are more, especially to those in stock brokerage.
