Kluwer Promote Julie Peck To VP & GM of Tymetrix
Here's the press release sent out yesterday
Wolters Kluwer Corporate Legal Services (CLS), the leader in legal process and business performance management, today announced that Julie Peck has been promoted to vice president and general manager of TyMetrix, the global market leader in delivering intelligent solutions that empower corporate legal departments, law firms and claims organizations to manage the business of law.
A seasoned CLS executive, Peck was most recently the vice president, product and marketing strategy for TyMetrix. Under her leadership, Peck applied customer research and analytical exploration to modernize the interface of T360, TyMetrix's flagship product, to be more customer-centric and workflow suitable.
Peck also helped establish TyMetrix Legal Analytics, a complementary business to TyMetrix's core offerings that provides predictive and analytical models, benchmarking, and insights to all corporate and law firm legal professionals. She led the team that introduced the Real Rate Report®, a critical first step in building a new line of data-driven benchmark products. Peck and her team were recognized for this accomplishment in 2011 with the Wolters Kluwer Global Innovation Award.
"Julie has expert knowledge of the legal industry, a strong passion for our customers and a commitment to driving results," said Richard Flynn, group president & CEO of Wolters Kluwer Corporate Legal Services. "She is a gifted strategist and a thoughtful leader. This is not only a great opportunity for Julie but also for the business. Her appointment reaffirms our investment in TyMetrix and our commitment to developing our people."
Under her leadership, TyMetrix has seamlessly combined technology, data, domain expertise, and intellectual capital into a unique, holistic set of offerings that makes information more accessible, more meaningful and more actionable than ever before. It helps law firms, legal departments and claims organizations better manage the complex, multi-dimensional challenges and issues they face today.
"It's an honor to lead TyMetrix into the future," said Julie Peck, vice president and general manager of TyMetrix. "I'm thrilled to be leading TyMetrix's evolution from a pure software/services company to an intelligent solutions provider combining expertise, service, data, human capital and technology to solve a host of business challenges for our clients. Because of the unique blend of domain expertise and an uncommon understanding of the power of data, TyMetrix is able to serve our clients, and the legal marketplace as a whole in ways others can't. Our continued growth as a solutions organization is coming from using these assets deliberately and strategically. It's an exciting time at TyMetrix."
