A couple of interesting posts by Graham Greenleaf to the Australian PLLAO law library list talking about the currency of Austlii..
It has always been an issue with users that Austlii may not be as current as the likes of Lexis & Westlaw.
So do take a look at his posts --- if Austlii is as current as he suggests more of us should be using it.
He writes:

Dear all,
I need to clarify some confusion between "updating databases" and
"rebuilding concordances".
The databases, the associated index pages, recent cases pages and
tables of contents pages are updated as per the listing I sent in my
message below - this is how quickly cases are browsable on AustLII
once received from a Court or Tribunal.
The updating schedule for the SINO concordances (and therefore
searchability) follows a different schedule:
o Commonwealth case database concordances are rebuilt at 1:30 daily.
o The High Court database concordance is rebuilt at 21:30 daily.
o The Federal Court database concordance is rebuilt at 55 minutes
past the hour between 08:00 and 19:00.
o The Federal Court Full Court database concordance is rebuilt at 55
minutes past 10:00 and 17:00 daily.
o NSW case database concordances are rebuilt at 48 minutes past 11:00
and 18:00 daily
o All other cases concordances are rebuilt at 02:30 daily.
So, for searchability purposes, the Federal Court databases are
rebuilt hourly, Full Federal Court and NSW caselaw twice daily, and
other courts daily. We increase the speed of these rebuild schedules
when we can, subject to other resources and system needs.

Dear all,
Further to my email yesterday, AustLII's current practices in
updating the searchability of case law database are much better than
my quick comment that they are 'updated daily'. The details follow.
AustLII rebuilds the following Court databases at 10,30 and 50
minutes past the hour (ie every 20 minutes) between 07:00 and 19:00
daily:
