Herbert Smith Freehills Wants Your Feedback On Developing A Global Collection & Managing It

Dear all,

Herbert Smith Freehills is in the process of developing a global collection development policy to be used by all library and knowledge centres in offices from London to Sydney to New York to Dubai.

If you are working in a law firm library, we would appreciate any and all feedback you might have about how collection development decisions are made at your firm. We are particularly interested in how you select material, your decision-making on online vs print material and reliance on external document supply.

The survey should take around 5-10 minutes to complete.

In an effort to make this information useful to all law firm libraries, we will publish the aggregated results of the survey on both the Australian Law Librarians’ Association (ALLA) Community Space and British and Irish Association of Law Librarians (BIALL) How Do I? wiki. Should you wish you be notified when the results are available, please include your contact details at the end of the survey.

Many thanks in advance.
