Norton Rose announces 33 global promotions ahead of US combination

Leading international legal practice Norton Rose has today announced 33 partner promotions globally including, in South Africa, six promotions to director.
 
For the second consecutive year, female partners accounted for a strong percentage of all promotions (42% this year and 44% last year).
 
25 promotions were made across Norton Rose?s three global practice groups of corporate (12), banking (7); litigation and dispute resolution (6) with a further three in employment and labour; two in antitrust, competition and regulatory; one in intellectual property and one in occupational health, safety and security. This year?s promotions to partner also include Helen Masters, office of the general counsel in London, who has been with the practice for over 20 years and first qualified into commercial litigation following a traineeship at Norton Rose.
