Indian Firm Lex Nexus Rebrands As Shipping Firm Print E-mail

Indian firm LEX Nexus established in 1998 was restructured in December 2007 as ‘projects and shipping’ law firm and they have announced that they have now restructured further as of May 2, 2008.

As a ‘specialised shipping law firm’ thus forming the only solicitor or law firm of the country specialising in shipping, maritime and admiralty work.
Mr. Shrikant Hathi a shipping and project specialist is the Managing Partner of the firm; practicing law in the Bombay High Court since 1992.





He is the president of Worldlawyers.NET a network of international maritime law firms, is also  ranked by Legal 500 and other independent credential bodies as a Leading Individual for shipping work in India.

He says in his press release "Genuine industry legal specialists are rare, but they can save time and money for clients."





LEX Nexus has two offices, in Mumbai and New Delhi with ten associate offices at major port cities in India and forty offices globally at EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), America and Asia Pacific.
The firm is structured for shipping litigation, arbitration, shipping projects and transactional work including corporate, commercial and other work pertaining to shipping industry.
