Deputy Mayor and head of Shenzhen’s Political Legal Committee Jiang Zunyu was taken in Friday for questioning by the CCDI. The second linked report indicates that his problems relate to his tenure as Party Secretary of Shenzhen’s Longhua district, where hundreds of millions of RMB were spent in construction projects in preparation for the 2011 Universiade. The implication is that some of that money found its way into Jiang’s pocket.
