Allens (Australia) Present Panel Discussion : Getting The Deal Done In Vietnam

Getting the Deal Done in Vietnam

Vietnam continues to gain the attention of many multinational corporations, attracted by a combination of low labour costs; a growing consumer market; a gradual move from a centralised to a market oriented economy; and the introduction and amendments of legislation by the Government to aid foreign investment.

The country’s almost 90 million-strong population boasts a large, young and educated workforce, and with a total revenue growth of 25% a year, even in the time of global economic crisis and domestic economic slowdown, the Vietnamese market offers a lot of potential for foreign investors.

Despite the positive changes, several barriers still remain to foreign investment in Vietnam.

Please join us for this interactive session which will cover many of the common issues that investors should be aware of when operating in Vietnam and will look to provide guidance as to how to successfully navigate them through case-studies and the sharing of mutual experiences.

This session will take the form of a discussion forum between a panel of legal and non-legal experts from Dragon Capital, KPMG, Allens and Linklaters.
